Happy Wholesome

Holistic Therapies

Holistic Therapy is a type of integrative therapy that incorporates treatments to help the individual as a whole.  This kind of therapy integrates physical, mental, and emotional forms of well-being. Our therapeutic bodywork has two major applications; pain/stress relief and relaxation.  Its goal is to help individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves on all levels and enhance overall well-being. With an accessible and mindful approach, whether you have a specific goal, concern or dysfunction and whichever way that may manifest, regardless of age, background, flexibility, or body shape, we learn how to accept and accommodate ourselves, let go of the ego, celebrate our uniqueness, and remember that no effort is lost.

At Happy Wholesome, we focus on the body as a whole, and not just certain parts. Treatments include Dorn Method to re-align the whole spine including all affected joints such as the pelvis, hips, knees, ankles, and shoulders. Myofascial release will get to work on any nagging trigger points that cause muscle weakness, pain, and fatigue. We’ll also apply acupressure on certain body parts, as an effective tool for healing. And not forgetting techniques that hydrate our fascia and connective tissues.  The skeleton and muscles function together as the musculoskeletal system. Treating both the muscles and skeleton provides the framework for healthy bones, joints,
muscles, connective tissues, ligaments, and organs.

Our holistic yogic relaxation therapy focuses on the nervous system, as well as emotional and mental health. It will encourage voluntary relaxation, attain a state of increased calmness, reduce levels of pain and fatigue, boost mental clarity and mood, and most importantly – reduce stress that cause dis-ease.

We are always happy to support you on your journey to wellness!
